My Favorite Contemporary Author

I Just learned Lionel Shriver has a new book out called (I think) My Big Brother.. Her book We Need to Talk About Kevin was genius.. The movie version paled considerably.. In my opinion, Tilda Swinton was miscast as Kevin"s mother.. My question to anyone who may have read this book is.. If you had a child like Kevin what would you do? I have asked this question before and the response was,PRAY.. That did not seem to work to well.. Next idea.. This book is so so worth a read.. All her books are great but We need to Talk About Kevin is sheer genius.. Her new book is about morbid obesity.. A subject about which I have many strong opinions.. Surprise? I will blog about obesity in Tennessee tomorrow.. Once again I strongly recommend a read of the Kevin debacle
