- Tell us about yourself. What have you done since graduation and where have been?
- In the fall of 1963 I entered North Texas State University, until 1966.I joined the Navy
in 1967 and was honorably discharged in 1969. I met my husband while in the Navy where we both served as Hospital Corpsman. We married in 1969 and had a daughter and a son. When my husband left the Navy in 1972 we entered SulRoss State University in Alpine texas, where we both earned our M.A.'s. We began our teaching career in 1975 and taught in Dell City Texas as well as, Denton, Bowie, Fort Worth and for the Wise County Special Education Cooperative. We both retired in 2003 with 30 years counting our military time.
We have lived in Runaway Bay Texas since 1996.
We have 2 grandchildren and I great granddaughter and another great granddaughter due in May. We are both enjoying retirement.
