Tell us about yourself. What have you done since graduation and where have been?
Worked for Xcel Energy in Denver, CO for 39 years. Retired from Xcel Energy in September 2009. My wife and I moved to Folsom, CA in June 2012 to be near our grandkids.
Don, No, I'm not on the welcoming committee. However, I sometimes feel as if , for a moment, I am back at Heights when I see a name that I have wondered about over the years. Great to hear back from you. Jane
Don, Susan spends most of her time in Eugene, OR with about 2 months a year in Albuquerque. Has daughter in Oakland CA and a son and his family in Portland. She has 1 grandchild. I sell electrical equipment to utilities including Xcelenergy in TX and NM (my biggest customer). Very sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. Both Grace and Bob were great. Ron and I met for lunch occasionally before he passed away. What about your older brother? George
Don, it would be great to get together next summer. I am hoping that Maxine and Judy Guinn will come down from the Seattle area. Also, Jeanie Woodlock, a year younger but very good friend of mine in high school, lives in Vallejo. We have lunch a few times every summer. I'll let you know if any of these plans come to fruition. Miki
Hi Don, it was hard to not type Donnie...so glad you joined the website. I, too, lost contact with almost everyone from Heights and I was only in Dallas. This site has been great to catch up with old friends. I noticed that Ron had passed away and I am very sorry to learn that. I remember both of you at parties and school and you always had a smile and made me laugh. Jane
Welcome to our class network. It is great to hear from you. We have lots of classmates who worked in the oil and gas industry. That should make for some good conversations at our reunion next fall. There are a few of us in California. Russell Niles is in Sacramento, and I spend the summers in Sonoma. On the members list you can see where everyone is living. I think Barbara Evans is in Santa Barbara.
Our 70th birthday party for the AHHS class of 1963 will be held at Angelos Barbecue Saturday, June 6 at 6 pm. People will need to RSVP to lindarbagby@gmail.com. This is a new email for the purpose of this birthday celebration.
Hope you all can make plans to come and celebrate.
