- Tell us about yourself. What have you done since graduation and where have been?
- How do you briefly describe what you have done the past 50 years? After graduation and two and one-half years at NTSU, I married, had two beautiful girls, worked at TCU, then my family moved to DeSoto. I worked as an Administrative Secretary for the City of DeSoto Police and Fire Departments for 24 years before retiring in 2001.
I have three of the handsomest grandsons in the world. I'm thoroughly enjoying my retirement spending time with my husband, Harry, our two beautiful dogs, Sierra and Sammi, taking painting classes, making quilts, and reading. I'm also quite involved in tracing my family's roots.

Goodness Karen, how nice to see you still in Texas. Hope I learn more about how you've been. Heading out for the Carribean with my son and grandson from Justin, TX in a couple of days, plus celebrating my #68! tomorrow. My how time flies, eh?
Karen...I have been working on my family genealogy off since the www has made it so easy to research. What type of painting? I studied art before I started a family and haven't had time to pursue it since, but in October I'll be attending a Plein Aire Paint Out in the Ozarks with my cousin who is a pro. She's going to teach me...Martha
