- Tell us about yourself. What have you done since graduation and where have been?
- Been way way too many places to name here.. Currently live in the verdant green hills of eastern Tennesse in a town called Dandridge.. It is the 2nd oldest town in Tennesse and named for Martha Dandridge, George Washington"s wife.. I am a retired Credit Analyst for Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.. I have recently published a book I have worked on for 34 years.. It is titled A Twisted Texas Tale.. I have three girls and one grandson 13 who lives in Dallas.. The fabulous Avery Chowning Atkinson

As we were driving back to Tennessee which is normally a 14 hour drive, we encountered obstacles. Such as hitting Nashville traffic right after the Tennessee Titan game had ended, and the driving rainstorm on the Cumberland Plateau. When we arrived on the outskirts of Knoxville we both had a serious need to use restroom facilities. My spouse has a younger brother who lives close to Burleson on some acreage. He has been a widower for 20+ years. He is 63. In 2009 he was diagnosed with diabetes. He has been less than perfect in taking his meds, watching his diet, etc. Before we moved to Tennessee I tried VERY hard to get him to come with us with no success. In January of this year right before Super Bowl weekend we get a call from the paramedics in Texas. He had been found unconscious in a diabetic coma. So we…

I just returned from my first Dandridge Scoth Irish festival.. What a blast. Going back tonight at 6:00 for more amazing music and men in kilts!!!!!!!Two outstanding bands..Highland Reign.. Traditional Scottish music rocked out..Then I saw the Mud Men from Canada.. They defy explanation, and yes we chatted about my idol, Neil young.. They were properly respectful.. Hi, Kay. Re dress for Saturday night: as I understand it, it's quite casual. I take that to mean anything from jeans and nice shirt to pants or a skirt. Not sure what I'm wearing yet, but I truly don't think it matters. Nice jeans and dressy-type shirt sounds really good to me, and comfortable. Still, I might wear a skirt. Whatever you decide to wear will be perfect. :) Looking forward to seeing you up close and personal. It's funny how well I feel like I know you now just through our communications.
