"Saw this again and hard to believe it has been almost 10 years since ANKELE died. I know for sure he was a great guy and liked bt everybody. I also know for sure we would not have won the district in1963 without him. Great team mate!!!!! James Buis"

Butch, good to see your page here.  I was very pleasantly surprised to see you at Mother's interment in 2007.  Looking forward to seeing you at the reunion.

butch-- have just started getting connected with old friends. was reading my co-op magazine today with an article about child-dress texas. don't know if you remember on our trip to pampa when coach prater asked me where we were on the map. remembered you got a big laugh about that. trust all is well. if at the 50th they ask the '63 champs to come forward-- make sure you get up there. jim

I am glad you found this site.  I found it a couple of months ago and it is fun to see what people have been up to.  With 7 grand kids I know you have been busy if they are there in Fort Worth.  I have 4 but three are in Seattle with one in Dallas where we are.

Looks like you are still involved with sports and that is a good thing.  All I try to do is play golf but it is not getting better with time.

I hope you have a good 2013 and hope to see you at the reunion.

Butch,

Welcome to the AHHS network. So glad you signed up. I bet working those TCU games is a lot of fun. I remember when we were kids, my dad always went to the home games and usually came home unhappy!! It is so much fun to see them doing so well. I went there my first year of college, then transferred to SMU, but I'll always be a TCU fan!
