Pat, I am really impressed with your teaching. Some of the subjects would really be interesting to a little guy like my grandson. I'd like to learn more at the reunion, you coming?
Pat, sorry I am just now seeing your email...it has been difficult at our house since the Monday after Thanksgiving. Yes, I am Kathy Thompson who played trumpet. Now I am Kathy T Rider who lives in Austin and practices clinical social work in my private practice office on an outpatient basis for mental health with adults, couples, families, children and adolescents. I am cleaning out my emails bec on Friday I am changing cable companies..what a pain...My husband was diagnosed with a rare form of lymphoma..mantle cell...right after Thanksgiving so altho the prognosis is good, it has impacted everyone's schedule. He just had his second chemo tx last Wed. Our youngest dau came in this weekend to see her Dad as she had spent Christmas in Ohio with her sig other, his family lives in Columbus. She practices law in Colorado...sounds like things are going well for you and your family..That is great..will attempt to be more responsive...take care, Kathy Thompson Rider
What was "The Blue Cat?"
The last I knew of you was when you opened The Blue Cat ... Whatever happened with that?
We're planning a great 50th reunion next October so hope you can come down for it! Planning a tour of the old Heights!!!
Pat,
Saw your photo in the Annual and--my goodness--but you looked great! Your message says you teach engineering/architecture/robotics/systems/AP English. That is a lot of stuff to be teaching! I'll bet your AP English instruction is a lot better than what passes for English teaching from most of the English teachers who have graduated in the last 20 years. Tell me more. Terry
