- Tell us about yourself. What have you done since graduation and where have been?
- Let's see - 50 years is a darned long time to remember stuff .
After college I married the guy of my dreams, Doug Cox. I worked for an oil & gas company for 15 years and in between there managed to have 4 children (one step-daughter). Also during this time I became a professional product demonstrator (CPD) and acquired my adult professional craft teacher certification (CPT). For a few years, I traveled the US teaching adults how to work with various inks, papers polymer clay while demonstrating at wholesale trade shows.
I then switched to working with metal clay as I made jewelry. I have teaching certifications in this media as well.
My work has been published in many magazines and books and have had my work in Galleries in north Texas.
Currently I play with glass - fused glass bowls and also jewelry pieces as well as I make glass beads with a oxygen/propane torch.
I also care for my two grandchildren after school which I love so much! My time is really divided between caring for my grandkids, spending time with my children, making fabulous art pieces, and loving my sweet husband.
I basically just sit around and do nothing all day - !
