"Time and the tide wait for no man".. Time wasted.. Time Passages.. A stitch in time.. A babe is born toothless.. Blissful.. Innocent..Ruthless Time sets her clock and marches on.. The babe has her first tooth erupt.. Only a little smidge of pain(remember the idiotic statement no pain, no gain?) She smiles, she coos, she drools, Yet Time She still Rules..The babe becomes a time traveler.. Is she genetically blessed and endowed with pearly whites that actually Glow in the night? Nay, nay good fellow, Early on her teeth will be an unattractive yellow.. When she enters the halls of teenhood, time spins her wheel and Dentistry  begins a long, long Reel of silly spiel concerning the Proper care of teeth and gums..In due time Gingivitis is declared and a poor tooth is deemed beyond Repair.. It is Extracted, as they say,and Time leads the Way down the Dental Highway or Trail of Tears.. Bridges, crowns, gum surgery, fillings, flossings,Sensodyne, all a waste of Precious Time.. Then Preventive care became the Holy Grail of Tooth Preservation on my Reservation.. Alack, alas, When I arrived in beautiful eastern Tennessee a horrid abscess Awaited me.. To an esteemed periodontist,no less did I scamper, His dour manner put a HUGE damper on my time.. He coldly, but competently surgically extracted the offending part.. He, of course had no heart..So after all the time was well spent.. Except Glen was way Bent over the Highway Robbery cost since Time and the tooth were both Lost.. Then shortly after this time waster another tooth Just fell out in my hand.. Band on the Run.. Wherever is the Sunny side of this street? So welcome to the promised land where teeth fall out in your hand.. So to another Dentist I did go.. This one was Nice, But So So Slow.. He pulled this remnant of a tooth cleanly, but unfortunately.. Meanly.. part of the root remained Behind.. But in time with a root pick( too much info can make you sick) he got all of the tooth removed.. I was way in the groove until I glimpsed my Jaw with a huge dark bruise where my dentist friend had to fight to make it all Right.. Too many hours, too much Precious time Has been spent on a lost cause.. My jaws house a mouth of inferior teeth.. What a relief to realize all the time I have left to Spend before I float round the bend Will not be spent in a dental chair... But braiding hair on a Unicorn"s Mane and gazing through the Magical   window pane into the Velvet Underground

Kay ... Does it feel like we're the only ones on here? It's so lonely here in all this black space, no? Where is everyone? Are they having a party that we weren't invited to? Something's amiss; something's afoot.

You know what I wish? I wish everyone would write on here. I would so love to hear about our classmates' lives, what they've been doing for, OMG!, the last 50 years. Seriously. Wouldn't you?

Is anyone out there? We're right here ... waiting to hear from you all. Please. :)

You make something so painful sound, well, delightful. They're so fickle, these ivories residing in our mouths. Sigh. Et tu, teeth? Et tu?
